The pool before
We took the cover off the pool, and of course had the two standard problems. Leaves and debris to clean out, and water that needed to be shocked into submission, it was clear.
Thanks to work (of course) I was unable to attend to such matters for about 9 days, leaving us with the algae-land of green sickness you see.
Since I had gear for the day and I didn't have to return it until the next, it was time to clean the pool, fish-style.
$100 in chemicals and $20 in electricity for excessive pump running has made it crystal clear, blue, chlorine filled and swimmable.

Nursemaids Elbow
Elise held onto mama and jumped down the step in front of the house as she always does and suffered a dislocation. She was taken to the ER and remedied almost immediately. No sling required. She is fine and happy, rarely noting any soreness and has full use of the arm.
