A long day ahead...
Well, as many of you know, we are traveling to San Diego this weekend for Nonnie's (Bill's maternal grandmother) 80th birthday party. It will be good to see his family again, as well as introduce Nonnie to her great-granddaughter! We leave out of Dallas early in the morning, so we are driving over there this evening and bunking with some great friends of ours that are wonderful. (Thanks for letting us crash your place C4 & Joy!!!) So today will be a long day getting the house prepped to leave, as well as finishing up packing.
And now for your baby fix:
She still wants that kitty! And he wants nothing of it...

Wanting to move (I apologize for the shaky camera!)
Until next time, pray we have a safe trip there and back! Love you guys!

Happy 6 Months!!!
Dearest Elise,
Today you turned six months old. I cannot believe how much has changed in our last thirty days together!

Your little personality is becoming more and more visible. You love being around people, especially when they are paying attention to you! You are just so social, and jabber away to anyone (including Charlie) that will listen. You are just such a happy kid. Thank you Jesus for loaning you to me and your daddy!
Love,
~Mommy

First time seeing the Christmas tree. You loved all the lights!
Tummy time with your new toy - it makes it bearable, at least for a bit!
Your first cereal - you were not thrilled! And so messy :-)
You have learned to reach for your toys - you can grab the mobile on your swing now! Your favorite is the fishy
More tummy time! And a smile! Amazing!

We Bought a House
House
Deal goes through at the end of this month. After that, lots of work! Will be worth it though.
Here's a picture from today of the princess to tide you over until her mother posts more.

Happy 5 Months!
Dearest Elise,
This last Thursday you turned five months old! I know this is totally cliche, but you are getting so big!! We did not have to go to the doctor this month - which I am sure you would be happy about, if you understood - so I am not sure EXACTLY how much you weigh. According to our home scale though, you weigh almost eighteen pounds, and I swear you have grown at least an inch! You are still getting chubbier - you have the cutest little side rolls and buddha belly. I have to fend off friends who just want to eat your pudgy little arms and legs right up!
Alot has happend this month. You took your first long roadtrip - 500 miles! - to see your Popa, Nana, and Uncle Nathan for Thanksgiving, and you slept almost the whole way. While we were there you got to meet Grandmother Betty and Pop-pop Joe and make friends with their great-granddaugheter Kennedy. You experienced CoLd - it snowed just a little while we were there!
You sat in front of the fire with Uncle Nathan, and you were entraced by the flames. You played so hard in your jumper that you were just worn out! We said our goodbyes and headed home, and again, you slept almost the whole way! What a good baby!
